Acceptance

By accessing AsterScan (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Kairos Lab (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

AsterScan is a blockchain explorer that provides publicly available data from Aster Chain in a human-readable interface. This includes block data, transaction details, token information, account states, and validator information. We also provide embeddable widgets and API endpoints for ecosystem developers.

Use of the Service

The Service is provided free of charge for informational purposes. You may use AsterScan for personal, commercial, or research purposes. You agree not to: abuse or overload our infrastructure, scrape data at rates exceeding our published API rate limits, misrepresent data obtained from AsterScan, or use the Service to facilitate illegal activity.

API & Widget Usage

We offer a public API and embeddable widgets. These are provided as-is and subject to rate limits. We reserve the right to block or throttle access from origins that exceed fair-use thresholds. Attribution (Powered by AsterScan) must remain visible on embedded widgets.

Accuracy of Data

AsterScan reads data directly from Aster Chain. While we strive for accuracy, blockchain data is presented as-is. We do not guarantee the completeness, correctness, or timeliness of any data. Do not rely solely on AsterScan for financial, investment, or legal decisions. Always verify critical data against multiple sources.

Infrastructure Donations

Voluntary. There is no obligation to donate. All features remain free regardless of donation status.

Non-refundable. On-chain transactions are irreversible. We cannot process refunds.

Without reward. Donations do not grant access to premium features, priority support, governance rights, or any form of equity, token, or security.

Transparent. The donation wallet (0xfa78...E3aa) is publicly verifiable. Funds are used exclusively for infrastructure costs (hosting, domains, RPC access, CDN).

Intellectual Property

The AsterScan interface, brand, design, and original code are the property of Kairos Lab. Blockchain data displayed on the Service is public and not subject to our intellectual property claims. The AsterScan name and logo may not be used to imply endorsement without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Kairos Lab shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of funds, inaccurate data display, or service interruptions.

Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. Check status.asterscan.io for real-time availability.

Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the site. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
